La mission
Gradient Denervation Technologies is looking for a curious and dynamic intern to contribute to the research and development activities of its endovascular medical device.
Following a clinical trial conducted on fifty patients, the team aims to further investigate the treatment through the design and execution of experimental tests conducted primarily in a laboratory environment. As a Biomedical Research Engineer Intern, you will play a key role in the preparation, planning, and execution of in-silico and ex-vivo testing activities for the endovascular medical device.
Main Responsibilities:
- Learn and understand the quality environment focused on medical device risk analysis.
- Design and manufacture test benches simulating the pulmonary artery environment.
- Conduct a research campaign on the impact of the medical device on its environment.
- Provide instructions to the clinical team in order to inform the medical staff during the clinical trial.
- Write test reports.
Occasional travel within Europe may be required.

Profile:
- You are in the final year of an engineering degree (Master's level or equivalent) in biomedical, biomechanics or a related field, and are looking for a final-year or gap-year internship.
- You already have a first experience related to this internship opportunity.
- You are passionate about the medical field and motivated by the opportunity to make an impact.
- Strong rigor and a critical mindset regarding methods and results are required to successfully carry out this role.
