Gradient Denervation Technologies is looking for a curious and dynamic intern to contribute to the research and development activities of its endovascular medical device.

Following a clinical trial conducted on approximately fifty patients, the team aims to further investigate the potential impact of implanted devices (prostheses, stents, etc.) located near the treatment area. The objective is to evaluate their influence on the safety and effectiveness of the treatment through the design and execution of experimental tests conducted primarily in a laboratory environment.

As a Biomedical Research Engineer Intern, you will play a key role in the preparation, planning, and execution of ex-vivo testing activities for the endovascular medical device.

Main Responsibilities:

• Learn and understand the quality environment focused on medical device risk analysis.
• Design and manufacture test benches simulating the pulmonary artery environment.
• Conduct a research campaign on the impact of the medical device on its environment.
• Provide instructions to the clinical team in order to inform the medical staff during the clinical trial.
• Write test reports.

Occasional travel within Europe may be required.

Profile:

• You are in the final year of an engineering degree (Master's level or equivalent) in biomechanics, mechanical engineering, electronics, or a related field, and are looking for a final-year or gap-year internship.
• You already have a first experience related to this internship opportunity.
