As a Backend PHP Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust backend services and REST APIs using Laravel. You’ll work closely with front-end developers, product teams, and operations to build scalable, secure, and high-performance applications while ensuring code quality and reliability.

Your main missions will be:

• Design and develop robust backend features using PHP 8.x and the Laravel framework
• Build, document, and maintain REST APIs consumed by front-end applications and external partners
• Design, optimize, and maintain MySQL databases to ensure performance and scalability
• Develop and maintain asynchronous processes, including queues, jobs, and scheduled tasks
• Write and maintain automated tests using PHPUnit and Pest to ensure application reliability and code coverage
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical discussions and development best practices
• Monitor application performance, troubleshoot incidents, and contribute to application security and stability

Who are they looking for?

• Strong experience with PHP 8.x and the Laravel framework
• Solid knowledge of the Laravel ecosystem, including Eloquent, Migrations, Queues, Events, and Middlewares
• Experience designing, developing, and maintaining REST APIs
• Good understanding of MySQL and relational database design
• Proficiency with Git and collaborative development workflows
• Experience writing automated tests using PHPUnit, Pest, or similar testing frameworks
• Knowledge of Docker and containerized environments is a plus
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (such as GitHub Actions) is an asset
